The bus trip to the state Republican convention was a success! Thanks to Rita Hale (Alger County Chair)
for the fund-raising efforts, and to Doreen Takalo for organizing the trip.
The bus started in Houghton, picked up delegates & supporters across the U.P. to Gaylord.
The discussion along the way; and the chance to meet like-minded friends makes the trip worth taking.

Jeff Lamb was elected chair of the Republican Party in the 1st Congressional District
Rita Hale (Munising) elected vice chair for our area (1 of 3 in the district)
Mary Sears (Houghton) elected to State Committee
State Chair of the Republican Party is Ron Weiser
Lincoln Day Dinners
These dinners raise money for the local party AND give local republicans the opportunity to meet
Elected Party officials. Consider attending the dinner in your area, and other areas if possible.
