The Lincoln Day Dinner on May 27th was well attended, and successful by all accounts.
U.S. Representative Pete Hoekstra (candidate for Governor) gave an update on events in Congress;
and State Senate Leader Mike Bishop (candidate for Attorney General) Gave us information on state events.
The GOP music was well received, and the auction was successful.
Thank you to all the donors, and a special thank you to Dan Cook who donated two beautiful paintings for the auction. You can see his work at this year’s “art on the rocks” in Marquette.

4th of July Parade
We are considering having a GOP float in the 4th of July Parade.

This decision needs to be made soon, and will depend on how many are willing to take part.
