The March meeting at Bonanza was sparsely attended.
I believe it was due to the 60 degree temperatures outside; and the short notice of the meeting.
Rita Hale (1st District Vice-Chair) discussed 1st district items of interest.
Our discussion topic was the Eagle Project Mine in Marquette County.
The history and status of the project was discussed, as well as projected
America’s Tea Party events are popping up all across the country.
A Marquette event is tentatively planned for April 15th at the Marquette County Courthouse.

Next Meeting
Next month’s meeting will be held at 6pm on 4/13 at Wahlstrom’s Restaurant in Harvey
After the business meeting, our discussion topic will be Alternative Energy
Guest Kirby Juntilla from the Marquette BLP will discuss impacts of legislation on the utility,
and how our area may be affected by the “green” movement
Lincoln Day Dinners
These dinners raise money for the local party AND give local republicans the opportunity to meet
Elected Party officials. Consider attending the dinner in your area, and other areas if possible.
